As a client of Xtreme beauty clinic & spa you will receive an in-depth consultation before your first laser hair removal treatment to identify your needs; answer any questions or concerns; and to draw up a treatment plan to suit your needs.
Laser hair removal works by taking advantage of the three stage life cycle for hair growth. The three stages include the early growing stage, the resting stage and the dying stage. When we laser, all the hairs in the early growing stage will die. This is all good news as it means about 20% of the hairs will disappear at each treatment. The hairs in the resting stage may be damaged. This means that they will grow through again but they will be much finer than the original hairs.
We follow the recommended treatment intervals for hair removal:
- Facial hair 6-8 weeks
- Body hair 8-10 weeks
- Back or Leg hair 10-12 weeks
There can be variations in treatments due to factors such as your hormones, diseases and or medications.
